Our Values

Our values are our bedrock ideals.  They are also the supporting foundation we continue to build upon.  Every aspect of UIF is built on our values. These values influence what we are, what we do, how we operate and our relationship with each Individual Participant and anyone else who encounters UIF.

To be clear about our mission, purpose and strategy Uncommon Individual Foundation has developed a clear set of values to guide us in the pursuit of our Dreams.  With these values, we are able to create and passionately pursue beneficial goals and unite together in our mission, guiding principles and methods. Our values guide every decision we make and every action we take. Functionally and operationally, it would be reasonable to understand that UIF leads by our values. Defining and leading by our values empowers UIF and, just like each Individual Participant who is empowered with personal values, our values enable UIF to focus our Dream and pursue our goals.

Our values are as follows:

  • Each human being can be encouraged to understand that every person is a unique individual who possesses an identifiable set of core strengths that can be recognized and understood.
  • Each individual can be supported to understand and engage a set of core strengths, identify personal values and become empowered with a passion to form, focus and pursue dreams for a life journey, so that every individual may live life rather than simply exist.
  • Each individual can seek assistance during all life transitions while embarking and navigating on a life journey, forming and focusing self-defined dreams, achieving self-determined success, all in the pursuit of individual happiness.
  • Understanding that each individual lives in a global culture in which all individuals can form their dreams, regardless who or where they are in the world.  Each individual has the ability to be interconnected with other individuals despite geographic or other boundaries, throughout a lifetime engaged in the search of self-determined success while in the pursuit of individual happiness.
UIF’s sincere dedication to lead by our values is very different from many other types of defined leadership, both past and present. We believe that functionally and operationally this approach has the best opportunity to produce substantive results and create long-lasting benefits. Our values directed leadership philosophy is reflected in our mission, demonstrated in our guiding principles and employed in our method. Using values based leadership, UIF aspires to engage positively a vast number of Uncommon Individuals worldwide.
