Managing Director, UIF
Michael has more than 25 years of nonprofit sector leadership experience, working with organizations focused on fostering positive youth development. He has held past leadership roles in national and local organizations focused on youth mentoring, prison reform and solving homelessness. In his current role as Managing Director at the Uncommon Individual Foundation, Michael is responsible for the successful operation of the foundation’s Education Mentoring Programs and to ensure that UIF’s Founder Richard Caruso’s vision is embodied throughout the work of the organization. Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Penn State University and a Master’s of Social Work Administration from Temple University.
