OnTrack: College & Career Readiness

OnTrack is an online e-learning program designed to help 9th-12th grade students successfully navigate high school, understand the process to achieve a post-secondary education, and explore financial aid options.

Entrepreneurship Curriculum

A college accredited course focused on the root of entrepreneurship;  problem solving.  Students identify a problem in their community and work with experienced Foundation staff, entrepreneurs, and former Challenge alumni, to create a sustainable solution using the entrepreneurial mindset.

Literacy

A comprehensive education based program designed to address the literacy gap among students K – 6 who cannot read at grade level. Literacy Mentoring provides small group instruction, i-Ready computer-based education modules, and homework support during and after school.

Media Curriculum

Staffed by TV and media professionals with extensive industry experience, UIF’s Media Mentoring curriculum supports students and educators in the region through in-person and virtual mentoring sessions that focus on writing/producing for multimedia platforms, branding, and video production.

Our Technology mentors bring their background and passion for STEM into schools and community organizations. By harnessing their expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, our mentors help students “learn by doing” while providing guidance and encouragement.
